Did you know.........

Storage - Chocolate is not best stored in a fridge!
Chocolate is very susceptible to moisture and it will absorb condensation. Likewise it will very quickly pick up and absorb the smells from other foods. It is therefore best kept in a cool cupboard in an airtight wrapper or container.

Real Chocolate - The higher the cocoa percentage in the chocolate, generally the better the quality. Real chocolate does not have any vegetable fat added to it.

Blooming chocolate! - Chocolate is a delicate subject and has to be made in controlled environmental conditions. If, when the chocolate is being moulded, it is subjected to slightly too much heat, cold or moisture then the crystals in the chocolate can separate. This is called Blooming. The appearence on the chocolate will be either a dull white film on the surface or the chocolate may look 'speckly'. The chocolate is still edible and this problem is of appearence only.
